Michael C. Fina was a family-owned fine goods retailer and worldwide employee recognition company. The company was known for its online store offering bridal registries and home goods. Founded in 1935 by Michael Charles Fina and Rose Rosenblatt, it started on the fourth floor of 580 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Over the years, it expanded into the retail market, moving to various locations in New York City.
The company was one of the first in New York City to enter the bridal registry business, registering over 10,000 brides per year at its peak. In 2016, due to a drop in foot traffic, the company closed its physical store and transformed into an online-only retailer, partnering with Amazon and Zola. However, the company ceased operations in April 2019.
In the 1960s, Michael C. Fina entered the recognition business, providing rewards to Fortune 1000 companies. In 2017, it was acquired by HALO Branded Solutions and became known as Michael C. Fina Recognition - A HALO Company.
